We welcome first time guest Tony Kail to the show. We speak to Tony about his new book "Stories of Rootworkers & Hoodoo in the Mid-South". In this book Tony traces the lineage and practices of Hoodoo and how it was both feared and embraced by the both the African American and White communities in the Mid South region. We also discuss some of the personalities involved in the practice of Hoodoo and their own influences upon it. We also spend some time on the misconception and confusion with Voodoo and what some of the differences are.

We wind down the 200s with first time guest Tobias Wayland. Tobias is a paranormal researcher and author of "The Lake Michigan Mothman: High Strangeness in the Midwest". He is also the co-founder of The Singular Fortean Society. We speak to Tobias about some of the strange sightings of the "Mothman" in the Chicago area and also other places bordering Lake Michigan. We look at some of the more mundane explanations for these sightings and how some of these border on the absurd. We also examine some of the sightings themselves and their effects on the witnesses.
